The Capsule

Essentially, this is an endotherapy device, " for stimulation of the stomach, duodenum, the duct system of the pancreas and extrahepatic ducts, the large intestine and the rectum.

The medical effect, as borne out by many trials in Russia, is the "activation of the biolectric activity, secretion and motility of these organs".

It consists of two hemispheres, which serve as electrodes. It switches itself on as soon as it finds itself in the electrolyte environment of the stomach or the intestine, or the fluids of orifices.

It emits electric pulses, of a definite shape, range and frequency.

The peristaltic waves caused by the pulses cause it to be impelled through the digestive system

It consecutively stimulates all the parts of the gastro-intestinal tract.

The capsule, when passed, can be cleaned, washed with detergent, and then sterilised with alcohol. Then it can be reingested. This is an accepted procedure in Russian usage.

It will remain active for three passages through the system. It should not be left immersed in any fluids once the cleaning process has been finished.

Care should be exercised in using the capsule with children. Under 10 would be too young. Parasites

If the patient produces strong evidence in the stool of parasite infection, the capsule should be send through a total of three times to try for more complete eradication of parasites and their eggs.

Every administration of the capsule will not produce visual evidence of parasites. The smaller ones will have disintegrated, and wont be in evidence. In the case of large parasites, ie. tapeworms there will be evidence aplenty. The parasites emerge shredded into sections, killed by the current of the capsule and forcibly expelled, as it were, "shaken" out by the strong peristaltic waves induced in the intestinal tract.
